Hello Petal!
Here is a list of things I cannot live without regarding running my small business S&K.
✿ Blue light Glasses: I get migraines OFTEN and my blue light glasses really help to minimize them as well as protect my eyes from nasty light.
✿ My iPad and Apple Pencil: What I use to design many-a-things and watch cheeky YouTube Videos while I’m working on other projects in the studio.
✿ A Tote Bag: to shove everything into if I need to head over to the studio, pop to a cafe for some digital work or for daily on-the-go adventures.
✿ Our Notepads: absolute blatant self-promotion, however, we designed our Notepads to really help with daily life! I love using our Hourly Planner for when I have big days that I need to breakdown, our To Do List (my personal fav) for everyday tasks and our My Day Notepad for daily gratitude and grounding.
✿ A Film Camera: I just have a pretty basic ‘point and shoot’ film camera but the vibes it gives me is unbeatable. I feel like the images I capture have such a wholesome, nostalgic vibe to it and I carry it around with me everywhere in case I need to capture moments with friends and fam, my studio/creative space, or my surroundings.
✿ Milk Crates: This is a weird one, but I have found that milk crates (y’know the ones that are used to deliver things to bakeries) are the best thing I have found to transport my stock to photoshoots or when I want to create some content. I’ve tried boxes, baskets and even laundry baskets but they always hold too much, are awkward and are too heavy, Milk crates are just that bit smaller and help me organize and transport my stock!
✿ My Traveller: Yes, the same as the ones we have in our shop! 🙂 I literally take my Traveller everywhere, painted with our gorgeous blooms, it makes me smile so much when I take it on adventures, to photoshoots, to the studio and for running errands.
There’s so many more but these are just what come to mind first up.
Thank you for reading Petal!
